The third YAMA – ASTEYA
with guest teacher David Lurey –
Saturday 11 July 2015 CANCELED
We are sorry to inform you that this event has to be postponed!
Zunray is offering a series of workshops on the Yamas. We ask E-RYT 500 guest teachers to create a dynamic 3-hour workshop where yoga philosophy is combined with asana practice. Each teacher will have their own way of sharing their knowledge and teachings so be prepared to practice, to listen, to take notes, to meditate, to ask, to expand your yoga wisdom…
Asteya – Non Stealing
A Yogic principle that teaches us that we have everything we need to practice Yoga in this moment. When we feel inadequate or tempted to take from others to fulfill ourselves, our desires can lead us to steal and misappropriate energy. This workshop will involve pranayama, asana and applied philosophy through interactive experiences (i.e. games!) to find places where we may feel lacking which would lead us to steal and also to recognize areas where we are abundant and can practice the antidote to stealing… Generosity!
Open to all levels of students
