Pregnancy Yoga
Zunray offers especial classes for the magical process of pregnancy. Pregnancy Yoga is a wonderful way to connect more deeply with your body and soul as you become a mother and welcome a new child into the world.
The practice is designed to mantain your heart opened, your body strong and your mind relaxed as you move along so many changes. The Yoga poses are adapted to meet the needs of the different stages of pregnancy so you can come to class until the time of your due date.
Pregnancy Yoga is an excellent preparation for birth since you will learn about your breath, the optimal birth positions and ways to stay calm and centered. These classes also give you the opportunity to share your personal experiences with other expecting mothers.
No previous Yoga experience needed.
Postnatal Yoga mommy and baby
It is our deepest desire that you experience your brand new maternity fully and happily but we are also aware of the fact that during the first few months challenges can arise, due to the fact that many things have changed in our lives and there is a lot of newness in our days.
For this reason, we created a 6 week mommy & baby yoga program. It is especially created for the new mother and her child. The ancient traditons of Yoga and Ayurveda offer great tools that can make the live of a XXI century mother more enriching and fullfilled. Mommy & baby yoga classes also offer a nurturing space were women can share with each other, practice Yoga and relax.
This class is appropiate for you once six weeks have passed after the birth of your child. You can come to class with your baby or alone, if you prefer. Wear comfortable clothes and feel free to bring any personal items that you might need. We have yoga mats, pillows, blanquets and other “props” that we will use for your Yoga practice.
Yoga for children
Yoga for children is a wonderful class for the little ones.
We want to emphasize the diverse and creative contents of our program as well as its playful approach. Yoga child classes are led by Ana María García Ríos, who has over 25 years of experience working with children and whose main purpose is to create a space where they can feel that they are listened to, were they feel understood, respected and loved.
The classes are dynamic and full of surprises: painting and creative mandalas, visualization, massage and relaxation are common components of yoga child. All the techniques used by Ana María support the different stages of growth in many levels.
