Anusara Teacher Training

Anusara® Yoga Immersion
with Anusara® certified teachers Lalleshvari and Vilas.
Have you been practicing yoga for a while? You attend yoga classes regularly, you enjoy it, it makes you feel good. Then you might be ready for the next step.Yoga and especially the beautiful system of Anusara Yoga is a world to discover that goes far beyond what your teacher can communicate to you in a 90 minute yoga-class.
It’s not a coincidence that a class is the way it is. Yoga makes sense, but why?
In the Anusara immersion you will be taken on a discovery tour that will deepen your understanding of Yoga. With these new resources you will inevitably give your practice a new level of energy and more meaning.
The immersion is learning the theoretic concepts of Anusara Yoga and learning to put them into practice. It involves asana practice, listening, taking notes, partner work, group work, observation, meditation and sharing of experience.
Did you miss the first immersion? We have created a catch-up plan so you can still join Immersion II. Please write or call to receive more information about this.
If you have enjoyed the first Anusara Yoga Immersion you can continue with part II and after even part III. The full immersion program is a 108-hour training split up in three 36 hour weeks. Getting deeper into this Anusara Yoga program might awaken the teacher within you therefore the immersion program is already designed to meet the prerequisites of Anusara yoga certification.
Are you considering the options of becoming a yoga teacher? Will you like it or not? Immersion I is the chance to explore this unknown territory. A week of intensive work, a reasonable financial investment and like-minded people will help you on your way.

Lalleshvari (Dr. Claudia Turske)
Lalleshvari is regularly practicing Yoga since 1997. When she met her first Anusara Yoga teachers in the US back in 2000, she decided to follow the path and make Yoga to the center of her life. Her students experience balance, expertise, safety, and know-how as a result of her immanent curiosity and willingness to learn more. It is this deep curiosity that motivates her to proceed, to read between the lines and to discover the unknown.
Even as young women her passion was geared to the less obvious and she decided to study social anthropology and political sciences at the University of Zürich, where she also taught in the early 80′ies. Research led her to different parts of this world where she studied women’s associations and group behavior. Her curiosity and her deep interest in people mark her life and is the fundamental base for her yoga teaching in its different aspects: breathing, meditation, asana-practice and the studies of philosophy.
Her additional studies and experience as nutritionist and psychotherapist help her to redefine togetherness and to make an art out of centering and balancing in her Yoga classes. Lalleshvari celebrates a wonderfully smooth yet highly powerful teaching, allowing her students to experience themselves as deeply creative and energetic, even after class. Because of her profound knowledge and sweet temper students in Berlin and elsewhere are deeply moved and fascinated by her teaching.
Lalleshvari is the first German speaking certified Anusara Yoga® teacher, as well as registered yoga teacher in Germany (IHK – Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and E-RYT-500 Level at Yoga Alliance. She teaches classes for all levels from beginner to advanced students. She also trains future Anusara® and Hormone Yoga teachers.
Lalleshvari is certified Hormone Yoga Teacher by Dinah Rodrigues.
Vilas V. Turske
Vilas’ Yoga is Anusara Yoga. In his classes you experience deep inner peace and vital enjoyment of your body. As a key characteristic of Anusara he connects a very dynamic and therapeutic Asana practice with a joyful and life-affirming philosophy.
His background of experience is engraved by his love for nature and a long and intensive preoccupation with the arts, his fascination for psychology and the at-all-times readiness to strike a new path. So after various entrepreneurial achievements he spent 10 years designing and creating a landscaped park in Ireland.
A severe back injury finally led Vilas on his yogic path: overcoming the handicap became a deep immersion into all the various aspects of Yoga – Pranayama, meditation, Asana and philosophy.
From raw to subtle – for Vilas that is Yoga and he guides his students the way back to this inner place, the place of peacefulness in each one of us. An Asana practice with this awareness becomes a deep, creative, individual expression – far more than a technique to strenghten, stretch and relax the physical body.
Since his first encounter with Anusara Yoga he keeps studying intensively with John Friend, the founder of Anusara Yoga. So he conveys the essence of this great yoga-style with joy, precision and profoundness. Vilas is the first certified Anusara Yoga teacher in germany and E-RYT-500 Level registered at Yoga Alliance. He teaches classes for beginners and advanced and trains future Anusara teachers. He is very committed for that all students who are dealing with Yoga implicitly are warranted the highest education standard for Yoga teachers possible.

Saskia is a Vinyasa Yoga teacher in Mallorca and she tells us:
“Since taking the Anusara Immersions, I feel much more in tune with myself, the physical subtleties and I have a much better feeling and really ‘get’ what’s going on in my body. I find myself applying the principles not just on my mat but also in every day life, I even found myself applying them whilst skiing (and it hugely helped!) – the principles really are UNIVERSAL and once you hear about them, see them and feel them, you get a real grasp and start to recognise them everywhere. You learn to align yourself physically, mentally and spiritually with your highest expression.
Lalla and Vilas are a pure embodiments of what they teach, this is clear from the very first time you meet. They are truly gifted teachers in passing on their knowledge and experience. Their instructions are extremely clear and so encouraging, they manage to get the best out of you help you connect to your highest. My practice always grows in their presence and I leave feeling much much brighter. If you ever have an opportunity to study with these inspiring bright shiny souls, do! They will take you to your highest potential and further!”
Lucía, a Palma yogini that started practicing yoga only three months before enrolling the Anusara Yoga Immersion.
In her own words: “I decided to take the Immersion even though I had been practicing yoga for a very short time. I fell in love with Anusara Yoga and I threw msyself right into it… may be for the first time in my life. It has helped me evolve in more than one way: to start, my practice has taken of, I understand how to come in and out of the poses in a more graceful way and how to find the energy and make it circulate through my body; I have also learned how to make the poses shine and how to make myself shine with them. I have learned about the philosophy behind Anusara yoga and to feel the especial connection that is created among the people with whom you share your practice. It is a great experience that has helped me taken a cualitative leap in my yoga path, it has helped me feel better about myself and others.”
